Creating these designs for the Fall and Winter 2020/2021 Collection was about creating simple and impactful designs that would be core pieces for the Heirloom Apparel Collection.
I created 3 new designs for the apparel collection. The Desert Butterfly, Day in the Desert, and Day in the Mountains designs. These all started as hand-drawn designs in my sketchbook. The Desert Butterfly design has been hanging out in my head for a while to create and the two "Day In" designs were inspired by missing travel and adventure in the middle of a pandemic. I wanted to include some of my favorite things about road trips, hiking, being in the mountains, being in the desert, and making memories as sort of a collage of sketches. Its the little parts of an adventure that can add up to a perfect day.
These designs were printed on raw hem slightly cropped tees to give that vintage feel that I felt these designs deserved. And best of all they are printed in my hometown of Leavenworth, Washington. They look amazing with high-waisted pants and leggings and are begging to be taken out on your next hike or road trip with you.
